Harry Carey Sr. is likeable burglar "Just Jim" in this 4-reel Universal western. A New York "second story man," Jim is on the job late one night when he stumbles into the bedroom of a dying woman. Granting her last request, he heads West to deliver a package to the woman's daughter Rose (Jean Taylor). Once out in the wide open spaces, Jim decides that staying on the straight-and-narrow is much to his liking. The trick is to convince the heroine, and the police, that he really has turned honest. An exciting climax involving a gang of alien smugglers caps this agreeable Carey vehicle.
