Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

"Are you sure you hit him," the Cobra (Henry Brandon) demands to know in the opening of chapter 10 of Jungle Jim. The despotic ruler is referring to Shanghai Lil (Evelyn Brent) shooting Jim (Grant Withers) at point blank range. "Do I ever miss?" Lil answers brightly. Well, actually, she did this time and despite crashing out of a second story window Jim recovers enough to return for Malay Mike (Raymond Hatton). Escaping the castle, the two learn that Joan Redmond (Betty Jane Rhodes) has been abducted by Slade (Al Bridge) and the pilot Hawks (William Royle). Since the getaway plane only carries three, Slade attempts to get rid of greedy Bruce Redmond (Bryant Washburn), who is wounded in the ensuing shootout while Joan makes her escape. Bleeding from his wound, Redmond attracts various wildlife fauna but the hungry attackers are kept at bay by hand grenades. Unfortunately, one of the missives explodes right in the path of Jungle Jim and Joan.
