Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Eighteen-year old Juliette grew up in a rural area in France and has come to Paris to live. She scrapes by through begging, lives in a condemned building, and steals food occasionally at supermarkets. She knows lots of kids in the same situation. One young man, with a low-end job, wants to marry her, but despite her current chosen lifestyle, she doesn't want to spend the rest of her life poor, so she refuses him.
