Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This fast-moving Keystone comedy was directed by the talented F. Richard Jones. A flirtatious manicurist (Louise Fazenda) runs foul of the law when she turns down the attentions of a motorcycle cop (Charles Murray). He puts her under arrest but the old judge (Harry Booker) is charmed by the girl and releases her. As she is leaving, he adjourns for the day and follows her back to her shop. To prove that he's lively in spite of his age, he begins a wild dance that results in a big rip in his trousers. While she is mending his pants her sweetheart (Wayland Trask) shows up and lets the judge have it. The judge gets kicked out of the shop and is forced to buy a new pair of pants at a secondhand store. Back at court, the cop drags the manicurist's sweetheart in for speeding. The judge is about to give him the maximum sentence when the manicurist appears with his trousers. Unfortunately his wife (Phyllis Allen) shows up at the same time and angrily drags him home. The boyfriend triumphantly whacks the cop with the gavel and exits with his girl.
