Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Henry King was some distance from his days of glory as a top Hollywood director when he called the shots on Joy and the Dragon. Popular juvenile star Baby Marie Osborne plays an orphaned girl who is adopted by a bunch of softhearted sailors. Somehow or other, Baby Marie makes her way to a tough western mining camp. Here she meets and reforms the "black sheep" of a prominent New England family. The last-named character is portrayed by director King, who shortly thereafter retired from acting with little regret.
