Journey Into Thailand is a seven-part series examining the people, traditions, sights, sounds, and unique beauty of the country known as "the Land of Smiles." Part four, The Other Thailand, explores the rich and productive southern portion of the country which was once renowned for its tin mines. Within this gorgeous natural landscape is a vast area of productive rubber plantations where a majority of the world's rubber is derived. Episode highlights include a look at the mosques built by the region's Muslim population.
