Journey Into India is a ten-volume travel series highlighting the rich culture, history, and traditions of India. Footage comes from across the subcontinent and reflects an intimate knowledge of this corner of the world. Part four, Cochin, examines the history of the spice trade. Cochin, located along the southwestern coast of India, was once the center of the international spice trade and bustled with merchants from China to Arabia. The program explores the people and religions which have flourish in this region.
