Synopsis by Hal Erickson
One of "Popeye" creator E.C. Segar's most memorable characters, the magical orchid-eating dog known as "The Jeep", makes its screen debut in this cartoon. As Olive Oyl struggles to prevent little Swee'Pea from sneaking out of his crib, Popeyes comes a-calling with the Jeep in tow. This distraction allows Swee'Pea to crawl out of the apartment window, whereupon the Jeep follows suit. Though Popeye rushes to retrieve the Jeep, the resourceful little critter manages to stay one step ahead of the sailor thanks to his peculiar "talents."
