Synopsis by Hal Erickson
To Indian audiences, the plot of Izhaar was standard stuff. Once again, the course of true love has a bumpy ride thanks to a greedy landlord. The landlord's son, destined for a wealthy marriage, has the gall to fall in love with a poor girl. The enraged father then contrives to have the girl murdered. For some reason, Indian filmgoers were willing to sit through all 140 minutes of this by-the-numbers tale.
