Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Heavy metal masters Iron Maiden bring their legendary act to the stage in the visual companion piece to their live 2005 release Death on the Road. With over an hour and a half of music spanning the band's entire career, this 2003 performance from Westfalenhalle Arena offers energetic versions of such classic Iron Maiden tunes as "Can I Play with Madness", "The Trooper", "The Number of the Beast", and "Run to the Hills". An additional, eighty-minute documentary takes a closer look at both the band and the preparation of the elaborate concert, and with ninety-minutes of behind-the-scenes footage, promotional videos, and image galleries, this release shows that even after thirty-years, the masters of metal are far from slowing down.
