Synopsis by Cecilia Cygnar

Part of the Investigative Reports cable television series on the A&E Network, this documentary examines the current status of guns in American life. In this two-part episode, Investigative Reports host and producer Bill Kurtis highlights several gun manufacturers and examines how they are handling the backlash of guns and the demand for more gun control. The stricter laws on handgun control are examined and legal experts speak out about how these laws work and how they fail. Those who are both for and against stronger gun control measures are interviewed about the repercussions of both sides of this heated controversy. Also, the video visits Texas to look at how young children and adults have been affected by the gun culture there.
