Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Produced in Australia and distributed to such far-flung posts as the U.K. and Canada, the six-episode Interpretaris was a children's science-fiction serial. Set in the year 3000 A.D., the series found the courageous crew of the space ship Interpretaris embarking on a mysterious and dangerous mission for the World Council. The program is worth noting for the presence of future TV star Lorraine Bayly in the role of a Soviet cosmonaut. Interpretaris debuted in Australia on October 7, 1966.
