Inside X: X Games IX features a comprehensive compilation of highlights from the annual X Games; held in Los Angeles during 2003, the games included an extreme surfing contest, as well as motocross, skateboarding, BMX riding, snowboarding, and hardcore inline skating and wakeboarding. Also included is a variety of behind-the-scenes footage with various X Game favorites, including skateboarders Tony Hawk and Eric Koston, as well as BMX stunt riders Ryan Nysquist, and Jamie Bestwick. Artists featured throughout the soundtrack include Pantera, Ministry, Fu Manchu, Slave, Fireball Ministry, and Grade 8. Bonus footage includes music videos from Simple Plan and Blue Man Group, as well as a photo gallery, footage of some of the most infamous crashes, and tips from the athletes.
