No sooner has he put the finishing touches on his new, self-constructed house than Popeye is invaded by a vast and terrifying army of termites. In typical cartoon fashion, the little pests eat everything made of wood in their path, and for a while it looks like they're unstoppable. Clearly, spinach is called for--and that's what Popeye uses to outwit the now-bloated termites with an even newer house that can't be eaten, no way, no how.
