Part of the In Search Of series, this documentary explores the mysterious and hidden world of witch doctoring. Narrated by series host Leonard Nimoy, this video examines how witchcraft was used in the past and how, even with the advent of modern medicine, witch practices are still used today. Sometimes, these magical spells are used together with the technology and resources of modern medical science. There are interviews with women and men who are supposed witches and some medical doctors who work with them to treat patients who ask for more than just everyday medicine. This video also interviews doctors and scientists who do not believe in these witching practices, and allows them to speak on their feelings about medicinal uses of witchcraft.
