Part of the In Search Of series, this documentary poses the question of when and where the Earth will experience another ice age, similar to the ones that occurred millions of years ago. Narrated by series host Leonard Nimoy, this video attempts to provide some answers to this question. These experts talk about what they know of the last ice age and what that means for the impending one. Scientists also talk about samples that were collected in both the North Pole and the South Pole areas and what those samples mean in predicting when this ice age might reoccur. Also, the ocean floor holds just as many clues, both about the historic ice age and about the possibility of one in the not-so-distant future.
