Part of the In Search Of series, this documentary examines possible instances of life after death. Narrated by series host Leonard Nimoy, In Search of Life After Death goes behind the scenes to uncover the mysteries of the afterlife by studying reports of clinically dead people who returned to life after being treated by doctors and other medical staff. People who have been on the edge of death are interviewed about their experiences and there are many actual accounts of near-death occurrences. There are also interviews with scientists who have studied this near-death phenomenon. Some researchers claim they have factual proof of these life-after-death experiences, while others claim that the experiences are intentionally heightened to increase curiosity about death.
