Part of the In Search Of series, this documentary takes a look at the fact and fiction behind Count Dracula, who was first made famous in the novel by Bram Stoker. Narrated by series host Leonard Nimoy, this video examines the existence of vampires and studies the history of the vampire through personal accounts and writings. The video explores the possibility that Count Vlad III of Wallachia was really novelist Bram Stoker's model for his famous vampire character Dracula. Viewers will see Count Vlad's castle in Transylvania, and see interviews with scientists and historians who discuss whether Vlad was really a vampire and discuss their findings and experiences on the legend of Dracula.
