Synopsis by Jennifer Lackman

In this documentary, rapper Che "Rhymefest" Smith returns to his old neighborhood in the South Side of Chicago, and reconnects with his father for the first time in 25 years. The film chronicles Smith's yearlong journey as he purchases his dad's childhood home and deals with the revelation that his father is now a homeless alcoholic. Directed by Emmy-nominated filmmakers Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg (The Devil Came on Horseback, Knuckleball!).
