In this coming-of-age story a young Russian boy named Daanyik (Samuel J. Dixon) is excited to move to America until his father is killed and his family descends into poverty in a foreign land. Desperate for money, his mother marries a cruel Russian mob boss and Daanyik finds he must fight to keep his mother safe from the dark underworld that now surrounds them. Stars Paul Sorvino, Harry Hamlin, Michael Lerner and Andrew Divoff.
