After befriending their class's timid foreign exchange student (Christina Higa), two awkward teenaged Japanophiles (Quinn Lord and Ronak Gandhi) and their new pal become engrossed in a whimsical anime. Unbeknownst to the ragtag trio, the anime possesses unusual magic, transforming them into its characters and bestowing them with remarkable powers. The friends must then learn to believe in one another and themselves to embark on a heroic quest to protect their world from imminent destruction. Co-written and directed by Eric McEver.
