Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Season Two of I Spy came to a nailbiting conclusion with the April 12, 1967 episode "Cops and Robbers." Taking a sentimental journey to his old Philadelphia neighborhood, agent Scotty decides to pay a visit to his mother (Beah Richards) and his niece Jo (Hazel Medina). Alas, Scotty's family has been taken hostage by his childhood friend Tommy (played by footballer-turned-movie idol Jim Brown), who has gone over to the Other Side. Even worse, Tommy has convinced Scotty's mother that her son has stolen some valuable microfilm-an accusation that, on surface, seems to hold water. "Cops and Robbers" was written by Jerry Ludwig.
