Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka

This three-part, typical Hong Kong romantic film features the story of a womanizing husband who leaves his wife (Ching Yi) alone on New Year's eve and when she comes back after a half-hearted attempt to go out and enjoy the evening, she discovers that a burglar is about to rob the place. What better revenge, she thinks, than to seduce the burglar? In the next story, a man (Kenny Bee) refuses to marry the woman he lives with because he feels that marriage undermines the love between a couple. One day his live-in companion comes home to find him with another woman, and so she moves out. After some time with this other woman, the man realizes he loves his long-time companion more than he thought, and maybe even marriage would be tolerable under those circumstances. In the last story, a paraplegic ghost haunts the love affair between a man and a woman, creating a difficult problem to resolve.
