Instructor Debra Maxwell put together this ballet tape for both boys and girls, ages seven and up. She provides careful demonstrations of the various positions and skills that are so important to beginners. Grade school children are featured in this video. Maxwell shows kids how to gracefully move their arms and feet and how quickly young kids are able to learn the demonstrated barre exercises. Children may aspire to future ballet performance work after watching some of the included footage of accomplished adult ballet dancers.
