The free-spirited son of a campus-bookstore owner falls for an Ambala beauty who is engaged to be married in this colorful romantic comedy from India. Rakesh "Humpty" Sharma (Varun Dhawan) and his best pals Shonty and Poplu have been inseparable since childhood. When the stunning Kavya (Alia Bhatt) shows up in Delhi to do some wedding shopping, she never expected to fall in love but feels an instant attraction toward the smitten Humpty, who never met a girl he couldn't charm. Before long they are bickering like a married couple, Kavya's engaged status only strengthening Humpty's desire to win her heart. Later, when Kavya returns home to be married, Humpty recruits his two best friends to join him in traveling to Ambala, where he hopes to declare his love.
