Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith

This ten-part BBC series examines why people around the world often respond so differently to specific places, economic issues, and cultural realities. During this episode, world citizens complain that American media broadcasts are compromising their cultural values and identities. Additional segments reveal, however, that media experts in Hong Kong and other major international cities are realizing that they are just as capable of influencing world opinion by broadcasting their own interpretations of the news around the globe.
