Synopsis by Hal Erickson

For two consecutive years, Human Camera was a summer replacement for the Sunday-evening Canadian newsmagazine series The Hour Has Seven Days. Each 60-minute episode consisted of a filmed documentary produced in Canada, the United States, or Great Britain. Whenever possible, the film at hand was introduced by the director responsible for the project: Among these were such noteworthy documentarians as Allan King, Reuven Frank, and Jay McMullen. Human Camera was telecast from May 16 to June 20, 1965, then again from May 22 to June 26, 1966.
