Synopsis by Tom Ciampoli
This documentary film shares the origin story of one of the most well-known global environmental organizations, and the men and women behind the movement known today as Greenpeace. The group's initial protest in 1971, which confronted a U.S. Coast Guard ship to condemn American nuclear testing, is captured featuring never-before-seen footage. Interviews with several activists involved in Greenpeace's origins are also included.
