This Hungarian film starkly examines a young man's aimless revolt against everything in his life. As the film opens, he is thrown out of both his job and his school. When he comes home, his mother has brought some material from the clothing factory she works in, to make him some clothes. He scolds her for stealing. He runs into acquaintances and meets a few people, but finally accepts a job sweeping out a factory.
