Synopsis by Mark Deming
A handful of street basketball legends strut their stuff on the court while rising hip-hop stars show off their skills in the studio on this home video release. Hood Hoops features music from hot underground hip-hop artists accompanying street basketball footage, with some NBA stars on hand to kick up the action, including Baron Davis, Alonzo Mourning, Patrick Ewing, Gary Payton, Damon Stoudamire, and more. Fat Joe and Sadat X guest on the soundtrack.
