Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
A series of sensational real-life crimes provide the background for this movie, which tells the story of four of them. In the first, "The Silent Killer," a deaf and mute man is tragically framed for rape by the real culprit. In the second, "Mama San," a young pimp discovers that it takes more wits than he has to outwit the experienced madam of an established bordello. "The Informer" tells of the efforts of a con-man police informer to beat out his competition. Finally, "Nude in the Box" tells what happens when a lovely woman's corpse is found in a cardboard box in the racing district of Hong Kong, Happy Valley.
