Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Seen on Sunday afternoons, Hometown was a lively Canadian summer-replacement variety series. The show was ostensibly set in the fictional Manitoba town of Willowbend, where it was always "festival time" and the locals never stopped playing music or partying. Neil Harris was the mastermind behind this entertainment bit of fluff. Hometown was telecast from June 28 to October 26, 1958.
