Synopsis by Sally Barber
Holy Land, Holy People is a six-part series examining the birthplace of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The soul of modern Israel is depicted through actual footage of the sights and sounds of the sacred land, as well as through commentary from spiritual leaders, teachers, and activists. The program The Living Spirit examines the roles of religious leaders within each of these monotheistic faiths and how they inspire and motivate followers of their religion. Taken beyond the realm of politics, this documentary conveys the meaningful guidance afforded believers. Other programs in the series include The Children of Abraham, The Holy City, The Desert, The Word, and Covenant and Reality.
