Synopsis by Betsy Boyd

Part of the History's Turning Points series, which explores pivotal moments in world history, History's Turning Points: The Great Wall of China describes the construction of Emperor Chin's wall of protection. The Great Wall, Chin's shield against marauders, required the labor of 300,000 people. Sadly, many of the laborers died and were buried inside the immense wall. The project is considered Chin's best contribution and his worst tragedy. The program, recommended for both students and history enthusiasts, uses on-location dramatizations to tell the story.
