Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Take a trip back to the fall of 1918 to explore the controversial tactics employed by American forces as they stormed the Western Front with offensives at St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne. World War I had been raging in Europe for years, but the Americans were reluctant to get involved. Once they finally did, German General Max von Gallwitz showed them that victory would not come easy by repeatedly sidelining American operations. But while American General John J. Pershing's decision not to release the bulk of his forces to other commanders initially stirred controversy within the ranks of the Allies, his strategy ultimately found him on the winning side of a battle that would turn the tide in their favor.
