This anthology movie recounts three dramatic tales, each set in Chile's northern countryside. The first story "The Skies," concerns the desperate effort of two men who may or may not be fugitives to cross the country using every known means of conveyance. The second, "The Son," concerns the return of a man to his father whom he left many years before. "Anton" explores the destructive activity of a deeply disaffected man, who feels most closely allied with the lizards who wait by the barren road in the countryside, waiting for something to happen.
