Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Robert Harlowe (Eugene O'Brien) marries Marion Morgan (Zeena Keefe) and later finds out she is wealthy. He is not happy about this, since he can't afford to keep her in the style to which she has been accustomed, and he refuses to live on her income. So he heads out West in an attempt to make a fortune from a mine in his possession. She follows, but life in the boondocks does not thrill her, and some New York friends convince her to abandon her husband and return home. Harlowe finally does strike it rich, and he returns East to play the stock market in order to ruin his rival, who wanted to marry Marion. Only after the deed is done does he realize that the man, as her guardian, held onto her funds, and she too is ruined. But Marion, who has decided that she loves her husband more than her lifestyle, doesn't care and offers to live with Harlowe wherever he wants.
