Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Athletic leading man Charles Hutchison also directed this low-budget action-melodrama released by Poverty Row producer William Steiner. An enterprising reporter, Christopher Hamlin (Hutchison) smells a scoop after learning that crazed sculptor Frank Seddon (Frank Leigh) has abducted lovely model Claire Garber (Mary Beth Milford). Held prisoner by the madman, who wants to create the ultimate work of art, Claire is rescued in the nick of time by the daredevil reporter, who is now in love with her. Long lost, The Hidden Menace was written by the prolific Jack Natteford and released to neighborhood theaters in January of 1925.
