Synopsis by Sandra Brennan

In this children's movie, a young Mongolian boy finds himself a fish out of water when he must leave his beloved steppes and make a new life in the big city. The seven year old boy is first seen merrily cavorting on the lonely plains with his grandfather's horses. Soon he is sent to live in the big city with his uncle. The boy is not impressed by the grimness of the place. He makes a friend, and soon the two have a good little business selling lemonade in bottles. Unused to modern amenities, the boy accidently destroys his uncle's apartment. Then he generously gives away all he'd earned to a blind man. His uncle is not impressed and admonishes him that selflessness in modern society does not work. The homesick lad dreams of going back to his beloved steppes.
