Legendary conductor Herbert von Karajan leads the Wiener Philharmoniker in a stellar performance of one of Anton Bruckner's most powerful compositions (and the last symphony he would complete in his lifetime). Anton Bruckner: Symphony No. 8 -- Wiener Philharmoniker was recorded during a concert at Vienna's Grosser Musikvereinssaal in November 1988; von Karajan supervised the editing and direction of this program in his "Legacy for Home Video" series.
