Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The ever-ascending star of Gloria Swanson received another boost with the Triangle feature Her Decision. Swanson plays stenographer Phyllis Dunbar, who loses her handsome sweetheart Bobbie Warner (Darrel Foss to her capricious younger sister Inah (Ann Kroman). On the rebound, Phyllis marries her boss Martin Rankin (J. Barney Sherry), a middle-aged man whom she does not love. But when presented with the opportunity to renew her romance with Warner, Phyllis loyally remains with Rankin. Even at this early stage of the game, director Jack Conway was able to sidestep the Obvious, and as a result Her Decision was remarkably free of cliches, despite the timeworn nature of its plot.
