Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
In this drama, set just after the Seven Years War, a soldier returns from the war in disgrace after he is accused of financial misconduct. His supportive fiancee consoles him, but his code of honor demands that he reject her as long as his good name is besmirched. In order to make him feel a little better, his fiancee claims that the engagement was broken because her family ridiculed her for loving him. This causes the soldier to tell the reason for his discharge. Later it is the army that finds a mistake and clears his name. Happily he finally marries his beloved.
