In the Haunted History series, the History Channel shows some of the most notoriously haunted places in cities around the world. In this episode, there is a look at the supernatural history of San Antonio, TX. Even though San Antonio is best-known as the home of the Alamo, it has a much different kind of history that goes just as far back in time. Haunted History tells the story of Sallie White, who was shot dead in 1876, but is still spotted wandering hotel hallways today. In the Alamo Theater, many people have seen an apparition that some say is the spirit of a former Hollywood actress. There even have been sightings of dead soldiers walking and reliving the battle of the Alamo. Historians and eyewitness accounts contribute to the credibility of these stories, while supernatural experts talk about why this area in Texas is such a hotbed of paranormal activity.
