Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter

This program from the History Channel takes the viewer to see firsthand the locations throughout the world where the undead are said to still roam. Ghostly apparitions are described by eyewitnesses, while historians recount incidents which left people dead but unable to depart in peace. From the Winchester House in California to the streets of Salem, MA, stories of spirits and hauntings are compiled for the consideration of skeptic and believer alike. This episode travels to historic Atlanta. There, one can see vestiges of the devastation wreaked by General Sherman's troops, as they began their destructive march to the sea during the Civil War. The ghosts still protest the murder and pillaging which took place in this Southern city.
