Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

This obscure silent Western was one in a series of three starring character actor George Cheseboro. Produced and directed by comedian Milburn Morante for release by independent operator Clark-Cornelius Corp., the film, a North-Western really, featured Cheseboro as a Canadian Royal Mounted Police officer saving a baby (Morante's real-life daughter) and her mother (Fritzi Ridgeway) from a nasty relative. Surprisingly, the latter was portrayed by Alfred Hewston, a grizzled character actor usually associated with comedic roles. A familiar face to fans of B-Westerns, veteran stage actor Chesebro entered films in 1915 and enjoyed a career that lasted well into the television era. He usually played villains.
