A Columbia University student and the love of his life find their happy future threatened when he's summoned to India to set up a call center business and the pretty executive in charge vows to capture his heart through whatever means necessary. Neel is a bright student with a promising future. His girlfriend Maya possesses the beauty of a model and the mind of a scholar. On the opposite end of the spectrum is Neel's roommate Sunny Malhotra. Sunny is a compulsive flirt with no mind for academics, and he frequently acts as Neel's conscience. Just as it seems that Neel and Maya are about to take their relationship to the next level, Neel accepts a position setting up a call center in India. Though Maya makes no attempt to mask her disapproval of the situation, Neel and Sunny are soon on a plane bound for India and preparing for their first job as professionals. The executive assigned the task of helping Neel and Sunny's team accomplish their goals in India is attractive and aggressive businesswoman Tanvi. Tanvi is attracted to Neel from the moment the pair meets, but try as she might to win his heart Neel isn't about to be unfaithful to Maya. Embittered and enraged at being rejected by the object of her affections, Maya vows to destroy Neel both personally and professionally before his work in India is done.
