A young Mumbai rebel falls into an unexpected romance with her sister's mischievous fiancé in this colorful romantic comedy from India. An outsider in his own family, Nikhil (Sidharth Malhotra) is attending Deeksha's wedding when he meets her sister Meeta (Parineeti Chopra). Vivacious and unpredictable, Meeta captures Nikhil's attention though it's her other sister Karishma who captures his heart. Later, when Karishma's father voices disapproval of his daugther's engagement to Nikhil, the prospective groom vows to prove himself worthy of her hand within a week's time. In order to accomplish this, when asked by Karishma to put Meeta up in a local hotel, dutiful Nikhil instead offers her a room in the house he shares with his eccentric extended family. Meanwhile, the more time that Nikhil and Meeta spend together, the more they realize how much they have in common. If love is truly a form of socially acceptable insanity, Nikhil and Meeta are both certifiable.
