Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Writer-director Christopher Landon’s slasher film is a sequel to 2017’s Happy Death Day. Jessica Rothe resumes her role as Tree Gelbman, a college student who is forced to relive the same day she was murdered by a masked killer again and again. When her friends also become trapped in the same predicament, she resolves to unmask the murderer and terminate the time loop once and for all.
