Hans Christian Andersen's Day Dreamer, a video for children, shares several Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale favorites. Viewers follow Chris, a child in search of Andersen's "Garden of Paradise." As Chris journeys, he steps into the pages of The Ugly Duckling, the story of a little misfit who eventually transforms into a beautiful swan, The Little Mermaid, and The Emperor's New Clothes, in which a very foolish emperor gets swindled by a conniving tailor.
