Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
In this unique hybrid documentary/concert performance filmed on the river Thames, London biographer Peter Ackroyd narrates as a determined team of musical experts attempt to explore the historical 1717 premiere of Hendel's "Water Music". In addition to exploring the event from a historical standpoint, the concert is recreated for the first time ever in full costume aboard a regal-style period barge.
